| What a photo - also, check the race summary:
"Went right start, pressed leader, led over 1f out, driven clear inside final furlong, ran on, comfortably"
Wasn't that Precky's try against Saints when he skinned Darren Albert?

| I believe Marwan Koukash is expecting great things from the horse. Apparently he spent some time and money picking the right one to name Steve Prescott. Unless I am mistaken all winnings are going to the foundation as well.
I have really grown to like Koukash, he is a crack pot sometimes but he seems to have a big heart and I really feel he loves RL and the game is better for having people like him involved.
Lets hope the horse goes on to have a great career, earns loads of money for the foundation and keep Steve's name in all our minds.

Indeed! Didn't swan dive to finish though.

Good post. Koukash maybe as nutty as a fruitcake but he is a breath of fresh air, and this gesture is fantastic, especially letting Linzi and the boys collect the trophy after the race.
A fair few (including me) made some money on Saturday night and a lot is going to the Foundation. Steve may be running again at Chester on Saturday, so get your pennies ready!

| If you search for "Marwan speech" on that well known video hosting site, there's a moving post race tribute speech to Steve, his family and the Steve Prescott Foundation from Dr Koukash in which he allows Linzi, Taylor and Koby to receive the prize for the race that the horse won and tells people to fill the buckets with cash in aid of the charity. He also says he'll be wandering round with a bucket himself, I imagine he'd be a difficult bloke to ignore when asking for cash for this particular charity.
Have a look, well worth viewing.

| Loved the doc from the start. Those blinkers fans who dislike him need a reality check. All we (the game) needs is another multi millionaire from the same part of the world buying into the game like him and who knows. We might get the world stage we deserve. And of course it goes without saying, he recognised just what a guy Prekkie was and the legacy he's left the game

He did mate attempt get a good one. I hope he has. I reckon decent handicap standard though as with Fahey. Fingers crossed though!
