I've just read that Hull FC have 8 of their 1st 12 games at home. I think that adds a lot of pressure to get wins at the start of the season because if they dont they will have a lot of hard away trips

You want to concentrate on selling out CP for your opening game, or the pressure you will feel will be from creditors. (probably first in line are the people that have to paint your pitch green)

I doubt the creditors bother anyone at cp these days

Anyway, in response to the original point, I think this is covered elsewhere. And yes, I imagine it is going to be a difficult couple of months of away matches.

The away trips will be as hard as they were anyway, so it's irrelevant that there may be a few in a row later in the season.

The start of the season isn't as crucial either. Leeds had a mediocre start each year they won the comp recently and no one ever won SL in Feb or March. You could finish 8th and then win 5 in a row and be champs.

considering we have saints and wire away in our first two games, realistically we will probably have two points from 6, will be dissapointed if we dont beat catalan at home

im hoping saints have their usual slow start to the season, warrington will be gunning for us after the semi final defeat last year

the next four games we should be capable of winning them all! but we know how that usually works out

We usually start slow, but we've started pre-season earlier, so you'd hope we can hit the ground running better (this could of course make us more tired later in the season though)

the club badly needs a good start to get the fans back on side, the majority of pass-holders i've spoken to have renewed their passes this year out of sheer loyalty & faith in Pearson's passion for the club, not the on field 'entertainment' that good-will will only last so long.

As with every other season and every other sport, the start will be as important as the middle and the end.
