Don't know. But just pointing out that the salary offered to a young upcoming player was not enough to live on, according to the player. Would make a return unlikely for McDonnell IMO. When your ringfencing thirty thousand sheets to re-sign your "man" Cockayne, makes sense to balance the books by releasing such as Griffin.
