Shame we've had no real consistency with injuries playing a big part. Having said that though our squad depth has been a lot better than previous years. Really looking forward to seeing Miller next season, the kid is exactly what we've needed for such a long time; confident, takes the line on, good kicking game, great pair of hands and not scared to put himself about. Whilst I agree that Horne was superb in the first half of the season, he misses more games than he plays and miller/Holdsworth is and should be our half back combination (hopefully for a long time). Horne, like whiting is a great squad player to have though. I feel yeaman will be backup to arundel & crooks next year too, and rightly so IMO.

Interesting to see that all of you have included Arundel in your lineups, and a real sign of how much he's come on over the season. I felt that he struggled in his first few matches for us but has really improved towards the end, before injury ended his season.

I though Arundel was good at the start of the season, and towards the end he has improved.

I thought he struggled at the beginning of the season , Had a mare at Leeds & subsequently got dropped not to long after iirc. Much improved towards the end of the season though , Unlucky with the timing of his injury , Was playing well up to then .

he played a couple of games for york at one stage of the season too. good comeback, unlucky injury, he'll hopefully kick on next season

out of interest did anyone's strongest team of the season play any games together in the positions that the poster nominated, or did injury/form always prevent this?
