Atmosphere was as flat as a pancake tonight because even the most blinkered fans have now realised the 'new dawn' has fizzled out and we're heading backwards. Half the crowd was playing about on their phones during the game, to fend of boredom from watching our attacking play...and no doubt many are wondering just why they pay £250+ a year to watch such garbage.

time to get a proper head coach in, not an untried assistant, and time to (yet again) shift some of the average no-hopers in the team.

I'm not saying I necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but it might not be too easy to find someone significantly better than Gentle who's available and willing to come to Hull.

Not sure who Daniel Morgan is. Brian Smith is so well thought of he's coaching the US. He's never won a trophy. Don't know enough about the other two to comment.

One of the best games I've seen Westerman play for us. He was everywhere and ran his blood to water.

No...as i was unable to attend tonight due to illness i dont know how he played but i havent been a fan since we signed him...far too inconsistent .

Arundel is an average and competent player, but is he going to break us in to the top4?

he's also spent most of the season injured, oh well only another 3 years of his deal to go...another top signing for the club

I'd say that Westerman was one of our best forwards for the first half of the season. Since then, he's been quite ordinary.

Brian Smith - Could be available, still does coaching clinics. I'm guessing he's been sounded out for a few jobs though and has probably declined them all.
