Has there been any announcement on where he will be playing next season? I would love him at Wigan to replace Pat Richards, he is a top player but it all seems to have gone quiet

I really thought he would have said by now then we could have given him a good send off on his last home game of the season. I can only think the reason is 1. he hasn't got anywhere yet and 2. He is going to KR and dosent want to let it out yet. Others have said so whats the problem? Fans know he is going and I would have thought he wanted a good send off don't you?

Why won't he get a good send off regardless of wether we know where he's going or not? When we get knocked out of the play offs it'll be his last game for us. We can then all say turrah!

I wont be going to that one, my last game will be Friday night. Just seems odd, I would have liked to have been there.

I doubt that he would go to KR. Look at the league standings in the recent seasons - we've had very similar placings. If he's leaving then I would expect him to go to a club who is consistently above us and challenging for the League title - which means more Wigan and Leeds. Unless he's going to NRL or Union.

If he goes to Salford he will do well with all the talent and ego's bumping into each other next year

Tommy Lee has signed for them as well I hear

don`t forget,tommy briscoe said he wouldn`t be signing for another super league club.i think he is on his way to a union club,mega bucks.

Strange one this is turning out to be.

Wigan have plenty of young and exciting backs who can replace Richards.
Leeds have BJB, who might be going to Wire which could open a door, but also have their own academy backs who could replace.

Can't see him signing for anyone else in SL.

Problem for TB is that he is a winger and nothing else. Great asset to any club but most have far greater priorities than tying up a big wedge on winger. If the NRL has now not come off it surprised me he isn't staying put.

I'd be astounded if he ended up with us, as I say we have bigger priorities IMO.

Salford have a couple of decent wingers in Williams and especially Broughton.

Broughton is suppose to be on the move .

This was mentioned on sports talk the other day with burnsy saying how it has dragged on. I don't think this is the case at all.

I think Tom has made his decision that he wants a change, the NRL move didn't come off so I think he has chosen a club but is waiting until the end of the season to tell everyone, including the fans. I don't have any problem with this as I'm sure he would get stick whichever club he chooses to move to.

Earlier in the season I was questioning his commitment to the cause but as the season has wore on I've seen plenty of effort from Tom and I say good luck to him wherever he plays next season.

But....if it is a super league club I hope he knocks on everytime he gets the ball when he plays Hull FC!

I know that we offered him a deal and then when he didn't sign so we then looked elsewhere for signings

but wouldn't offering him a reduced contract for maybe a year or two be something to have done, that way he stays with us and there is another chance to tie him longer term if the NRL deal he hoped for still doesn't come?

I recon it will be announced some time next week after the normal season is over.

Briscoe suits Koukash ambition.
If Salford signed Briscoe IMO he can stand there with a smug grin on his face and has done what he said he would.

Expecting Salford but KR rumour keeps cropping up, could be interesting if Koulforcash doesn't announce him this afternoon. Richards replacement at Wigan would make more sense.
