| Wilf your enthusiasm is infectious. It has to be said though it is wearing thin now. The talking has to be done on the pitch. For me the 17 on Sunday are playing for their coaches future and in some cases I have no doubt their own.
Roll on next weeks diary and something positive to look forward to. Wembley 2013 here we come.

| fantastic read again wilf, its amazing how I seem to get some solace from realising somebody else is as miserable as me!?lol.I was at both those semi finals of course.that brutal cas game has me thinking are the players of today as physically and mentally as tough as they were then?.isn't it annoying to see teams with poor facilities, small crowds etc doing much better than us!,the people of Huddersfield don't deserve the good side they have at the moment,I think we, the long suffering fc fans do!!!anyway couldn't go for any semi final tickets after Friday, but after my Monday morning diary fix I,m off for them now!!

| That fight between FC and Cas will live long in the memory, what a brawl. If I recall it actaully spilled onto the terracing with some spectators getting involved.

| Cheers Wilf let's hope some of that 80's semi magic dust finds its way into our dressing room on Sunday. We really have had some big game players in the past - do we have any right now I wonder ?

| Thanks for this weeks diary Wilf - it's just hard bludy work being a Hull fan but after 52 years being a supporter I'd like to think the players would reward my expensive obsession - it's not much to ask, 160 minutes of effort, never mind there's always next year, I'm running out of years.

| Thank you for another great read.
Can't help but draw parallels with 2005, indifferent league form and a semi final against a team we can't possibly beat !! If I've learnt anything over the last 40 plus years its whenever Hull can't possibly win they usually do !!
I don't know if PG is a good coach or a bad coach but what ever the result on Sunday something positive will happen. We'll either win and save our season with a trip to Wembley (like 2005 & 200icon_cool.gif or loose and AP will have no option but to take drastic action and a there will be yet another new beginning for us to believe in !!

| Another great read Wilf. Like you I'm biting my nails and wondering which FC will turn up on Sunday. Having endured the 1959 and 1960 finals as a teenager to the 2005 triumph at Cardiff life with our boys certainly has its ups and downs. However bad our league form is, this Sunday is a one off and as you say in your piece, we have the ability to lift ourselves for such occasions.
Lets hope this is true at the weekend and we can all raise our glasses to the boys and look forward to a Wembley weekend.
