Paul Anderson is none to happy with a challenge by Ellis on Robinson. Was it a shoulder charge as Anderson is saying or was it because Robinson is a midget and as with talks on Burrow,it always looks worse than it is. I seem to remember Ellis being told earlier this season about using the shoulder.

Ellis says he thought it was OK at the time and having seen it thought so again. Did Anderson mention Crabtree's shoulder charge on Miller that the referee ignored ?

Basically I saw it as Robinson delaying and delaying his pass and delaying just too long as Ellis chest and arms smashed him. Looked fine to me but that was 'live' on one view only would like to see it again.

Very much so. Pretty pathetic on a couple of occasions leaving the ball behind after being brought back for a scrum as well. Bit cheap really - don't think they'll be challenging Wigan or Wire despite their league position on that showing - not really any better than us.

Robinson took the line on, dummied, delayed and finally turned in toward the on coming Ellis, who cleaned Robinson out fairly. Ellis' arms were around Robinson, so the contact with the head was purely accidental. It was a fair attempt at a legal tackle.

So because robbos small there's nothing wrong! He can't change his height but Ellis can alter his approach . Contact with the head is a penalty regardless of the players size or intent! Ellis should bend his back - which reading your forum sounds like is the problem with your team all round. Not much effort by the fans yesterday either- 10,500 mute hull fans- must be something in the water.
He will get a caution no more, which is right but to say you can't see anything wrong with that tackle suggests you are either lying to defend Ellis or are clueless about the rules.
