Anyone else get goose gumps watching Ellis and Horne talking to the team after the game?





I don't recall seeing that too often?

It seemed obvious whlist they were congratulating the team on the win, the message was clearly keep your feet on the ground and lets take this into next week.

It was great too see, a team that believes in each other like that can overcome a lot.

In the words of Tony D'amato:

"You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That's a team, gentlemen."

It was good to see and thankfully it looks like they wont be getting carried away unlike some of our fans.

I already mentioned this on last nights posting. Great win last night.
But it wont mean jack S**t, if we Dont hammer the Dobbins.
WE are Long overdue a committed Derby performance.
I dont just want FC to beat them next week I want us to hammer them.

After Ellis' first game back, I actually had a conversation on twitter with someone who was claiming that Ellis wasn't vocal enough to be skipper!! All based on 1 comeback game viewed from the South Stand!!

The spirit has really impressed me the last few weeks. What I like is that against Wigan and wire we went behind by more than 10 points. In previous years we would have capitulated. Now though we fight back and put ourselves in a position to win the game.

That was the best part of the night for me, no one getting carried away and celebrating. All about focus and looking towards next game. Brilliant!
