last week may have been his debut but he arrived as a hull player last night.
being a cup game we didn't have our usual seats and was actually sat 3 rows up on the half way line when we normally sit higher up towards one end. anyway from that vantage point you could really see what a mountain of a man he is, and how hard he hits.
Agreed. Thought he was very good last night, defence was brutal at times and he took the ball up with real intent. Took his try well and his two offloads in the first half were sheer quality. He was out on his feet in the last 10-15 so glad PG brought him off with 5 or so to go. His leadership was evident even in the warm up, never stops talking and encouraging, a captains performance.
Think and thought so watching n r l he's the hardest hitter in the game. Not eye catching send a man into orbit shots but each n every tackle consistently. His out the back pass and his offload were class.
The step up from last week to this was immense. Don't know how many more gears he's got can't imagine he's running anywhere near top level 2 games in!
well his health was never called into question in the post mash interview from what i heard, so im taking that as a positive indication, but us hull fans can be forgiven for any injury related paranoia
