Any word on ticket sales? Bit disappointed that the club haven't pushed it as much as last year, we are definitely due a win there though that's for sure.

last two home games clarkey has announced we have the most ticket sales from all the clubs so far, but no numbers given

Think we've pushed it more than other clubs from what I have seen (to be fair you don't get to see what other clubs are posting out to their season ticket holders)

for anyone in two minds whether to go...last year was the first one I attended, as I had been sceptical of the concept before that. When I got there I had a fantastic time (despite the result!) was great to see so many different teams fans sat in the sun enjoying RL.

Also this years lineup is a more attractive set of fixtures IMO. Cas-Wakefield & Saints Warrington should be more watchable than Widnes-Wire last year.

despite last years result, ours and the cas v wakey game were the best two of the whole weekend, now if saints have a some of their missing players back, we could end up having 3 cracking games to watch

I've been to a couple of MW's down in Cardiff & went to Manchester last year. For anyone who's 50/50 about going (& can afford to go), I urge you to give it a try, I've loved every one so far.

I think the tram station outside the Etihad is now open too, so this year it'll be quick, cheap & easy to get to and from the city centre.

Great value for money too. Be good to see a lot of FC fans there.

Was good last year result notwithstanding. I'm away this year but would be going again otherwise. Brilliant value IMO.

I've just had a call from the club asking if we had bought tickets, so they are trying!

I was undecided but after Friday night got my act together and sorted, bought my tickets today and got a Best Western Hotel in Oldham for the Saturday night.

Going for the weekend with a lads who've never been to Magic before so hopefully it's another good weekend.

Can you drink in the stadium?

Yeah, it's expensive though - about £7.20 for a bottle of Fosters and Magners if memory serves, but there's plenty of pubs around the ground.

I just looked on the Magic Weekend website, the fixtures aren't on there! At times we don't help ourselves as a game do we?!

Think I would have remembered if it was £7+ for a drink. My recollection is £4 a pint.

£4 a pint sounds about right from memory, though bottles may have been more.

The local asda refused sales of any alcohol to all rugby fans attending the magic weekend too!

I have got some free tickets for the magic weekend, but they are in the North stand. Can you walk round the stadium from stand to stand? Also where are most of the Hull FC fans sat? I don't want to be sat in the middle of a rovers crowd.

No reserved North Stand second tier I think. Think I might just go buy some unreserved ones.
