The Rarnerse set up similar supporters clubs over in Leeds not too long ago (membership is free). I think back in the day before every family had a car, these clubs were quite popular in Leeds (from what I'm told), enabling fans to travel to each home & away game cheaply. Well I'll be going. To find out what's happening as much as anything. If there's any moaning to be done I can do that once I know what's going on, unlike those who won't go but will still moan.

I don't see the point in going as I don't live in Driffield, Howden, Cottingham or Barton-upon-Humber. Doubtless Wilf will let us know what it's all about in the diary

It's basically helping out the out of town fans by bringing them together to pool their travel costs etc. If they're run like the Leeds one are, then membership will be free and these supporters clubs will be run by someone locally, who then stays in contact with the club.

They're not getting anything extra than the fans who live in Hull, just that little bit more effort being made by the club to engage with them, and hopefully get more of them coming to the KC.

Of course he is. He's upset that there's no free parking for those with "chip on shoulderitis".

The article on the clubs site talks about "exclusive benefits" so that may not be true. Lets see.

I think (again I'm going off what Leeds have set up), this will mean things like the odd player meet & greet (signing session etc) at their 'base' in Driffield or where ever. Things that fans from Hull have on their doorstep at the club shops and are difficult for out of town fans to make.

Or, it could mean a membership fee and various club discounts.

Anyway, pure speculation on my part and as you'll say we'll see. Glad the club is atleast looking to do something.
