The guy has been quality all year and I wouldn't like to think where we'd be without him.

The heartbeat of the team this season, can't speak highly enough of how he's covered for the loss of Seymour and Holdsworth. Always looking for the gap and some telling defensive plays. His long kicking tonight was as good as anything Wigan's halves had to offer.

Different player this season to the one we saw between 2008 & 2012, its like he's gone back in a time machine back to 2006!

He is playing well but he is playing in a side that's decimated by injuries & pay offs. "If" Miller comes and Holdsworth finally get the ok then Horne is definitely on the bench.

1) He claimed his place in the side before injuries and pay offs.
2) That should have made it harder for him to perform at the level he has, so it just makes his form even more impressive.

Regardless of whether or not he'll be first choice should we sign another half he deserves all the credit he's getting, and more from those who are too stubborn/blind to admit it IMO.

Without him this season, we would be in bottom 4, never mind top 8. Well played Rich Horne!!!

I agree fully with the second part but the first part doesn't make sense. It is easier to play well in a full strength side surely? His form is even more praiseworthy due to the lack of some of our other high profile/senior players.

I'm delighted for him, he has proved what an excellent and useful squad member he is and makes folly of the suggestion he has got his contract on the back of sentimental reasons or because he is a "local lad"
