In our local paper this morning it reports Gareth Raynor has been given a 2 year supervision order and a restraining order from harassing his ex girlfriend. Defense lawyer stated that Gareth had an history of mental health issues and drug abuse. Sad to see how far the mighty can fall.

Another one for the State of Mind campaign. Such a shame he's fallen so far after a great career at Hull, winning the Cup, reaching the GF, touring with GB. If he'd not messed up at the back end of his career, he'd have gotten a testimonial.

they say 1 in 4 people will suffer some for of mental health problem during their life. Whilst personally I've been lucky compared to some, when it hits it often leaves you out of control and no way to stop yourself from spiralling in very quick order and oft impossible to get out.
Probably the most underestimated health issue of modern times and something that effects people so badly it ends in tragedy time & time again. Those demons can be such awful stable mates that can linger for all of your life.

Was up in court a few weeks ago re a row about a mobile phone

His life seemed to spiral out of control after the 'ink cartridge' saga, sad to see...definitely one of the best players we've ever had at Hull.

Unfortunate that the bouncer received a pummeling from him? Unfortunate that he decided to commit fraud? Unfortunate that he is harrassing his ex girlfriend?

Sad to see his decline but he made his choices in life.

I really do wish him well but he has to accept the road he has chosen and start to rebuild his life and get it back on track.
