I'd be disappointed, but I could understand why he'd join Wigan. They have regularly competed for trophies over the last few years, and Charnley (who IMO is an inferior talent) scores tries for fun off the back of the great service he receives. HullFC unfortunately still look a few years off regularly competing for finals, and Tom's next contract covers the prime of his career.

Looking more likely as he has made no announcement on his future and the 1st May deadline looms. I don't blame him if he does as he could play out the rest of his career at Hull and be unlikely to win any trophies

Been confirmed this morning that Richards is going back to West Tigers when his contract finishes at the end of the season.

Would love Briscoe at Wigan, always rated him, but assumed he was NRL bound as well in 2014?

All rumours, no one has a clue if he's been approached by Wigan or Cronulla or any team for that matter. Gossip has snowballed and now people think he's off to Wigan.

lets be honest, weve currently got 2 players pi$$ing us around with contracts waiting to be signed, id say, get rid of both, IMO we have cover for briscoe and tickle.... save the cash and spend it wisely on players in which we need to recruit....

I agree it's obvious Briscoe doesn't want to be here beyond this season and tbh on current form he'll not be missed by me. Tickle has hardly played in the last eight months so I won't lose sleep over him either..

Will be a big loss wherever he goes. If he cuts out the odd error that he's prone to he could be one of the best in the world.
If the controversy that's happened at the Sharks hadn't happened, Tom would already be signed and announced there.
He'll go to the NRL I reckon, I don't think there's any excuse for our best talent not to be over there.

they are talking about their futures as professional RL players, possibly the last contract Tickle will get, I don't think either of them are messing us about, these thing take time.

Silly comment.!! Tickles very few but always possible injuries after consistent yrs of good performances.
Briscoe top four tackle busts n metres in the whole league even when as a team we've been poor and he isn't even tryin.!! always a major impact on wingers. Also he's probably still though the only player in our team that can score or break out of nothing.

Amuses me that people say we have cover for Briscoe, you know, the international winger who can score from nothing. His form may not have hit the heights this season yet, but to say he would not be missed is a misguided comment.

Both want out and at present both can go for me.

Tickle is well covered n it seems he wants to be nearer home. No problem for me really. Just I'm reluctant to pass it off so lightly. Lack of overseas availability, talent drain and our young 1s prob 2 3yrs min from tickle form n ability if at all.
Briscoe is unreplaceable in the things he can do. Lineham good but totally different player, that will rely on team work n mates more than Briscoe ever has. Gonna need another wing, can't rely on just 2. Although shaul could maybe cover.
