Puts some SL clubs to shame, like Huddersfield and Wakefield

Four weeks ago your away support at Huddersfield was 192 thats less than the measly 247 that Hull KR brought last Sunday our away support at Hull last year in the cup, league and play offs was far more than that and has improved over the last two years.

It's an easy band wagon to jump on but 439 people from Hull for two matches ain't setting any records. London and Catalans apart that is the worst pair of away attendances in all our time in Super League !!!

...anyway, back to Crusaders - I thought their fans were an absolute credit to them and it brings back memories of their last game in SL and the nagging doubt that maybe the game was turning it's back on a club with some real potential

dont what you have been smoking or maybe you just read it some mag i was at the game at yours this year and there was well over 1000 hull fans easy probs more and as much as i will call HKR they would take at least that to any game even against a championship team probs its just the mentality of peaple in Hull they love an away day and a chance for a drink and follow there team, your lot carnt even get out the local pub and walk 5 mind to watch the giants even when the passes are the cheapest in the leauge jog on

To be fair as long as Wrexham FC survived we were confident Crusaders would carry on in some form or other....how it has gone has been a dream and with the Uni buying the ground we have got rid of the links with the old owners and as both clubs are fan owned there is not the anamosity between the teams that there is with teams like Huddersfield.

The passion for the game that is there is clear for all to see and as the word spreads accross North Wales hopefully we will grow bigger and stronger but whatever happens you will not dampen the enthusiasm of the support and that is the best thing about following the Cru.

192? Where has that figure come from?

192? Wasnt our usual thousands but there was a healthy 7-800 (for a televised sat night game) which is probably triple what you'll bring to the KC.

Think you might have an error in that figure. 792 maybe. Last year when we played on Easter Monday we more or less filled one end, plus had some in the best stand. I doubt we dropped to 192 in one season.

great support, never stopped singing till the end, shame they aren't still in SL! maybe the two clubs could arrange a pre-season friendly to carry on the good relations between our fans and clubs, also it seemed the fc players at the end gave the cru players the credit and respect they earnt

as for them bringing more than some teams, maybe it touched a nerve and our fellow giant supporter should go back to school and learn maths again!

There's probably only Wigan, Leeds and wire who'll take more there this season, and rightly so given the travelling distance. Geez what a plonker.

Great idea about a friendly as we would love to welcome your fans back to Wrexham one day and all the FC players came over to applaud us at the end...great moment amongst many today.

A real credit to the Crusaders. Non stop support, even on the wrong end of a big score. There was obviously mutual respect between players and supporters of both teams and long may it continue.

Some great chants too.

"The referee's a Welshman" when he was giving Crusaders penalties at the start, "we've got more sheep than you" "we've got the best Johnson on the pitch". Even had their directors standing up in the directors box with the "stand up for the Crusaders"

Good support from Cru fans today, made the noise of a much larger crowd.

Got to say I enjoyed seeing Airlie bird up in the stands leading their chanting.

Top stuff and can not be many times the Birdie song gets sung at an RL game and fair play for him joining in.

"0-0 to the sheep shaggers" early on was class I know we usually sing that with a winning score but I think we were rightly worried we would never get in front.

Great support from the Cru and a credit to Rugby League. I really enjoyed the banter and singing in the Griffin after the game with a coach load of their supporters. A great set of fans.

I liked the chant "are you west hull in diguise", following Hull's stuttering start

Airlie Bird was a good sport joining our fans and had to suffer the Birdy Song, "Are you Orville in disguise" and "I feel like Chicken Tonight".

But he got off lightly compared to the "Old Bird" in front of the Cru support who tried to chant back (one glass of wine too many, perhaps?) She gave all she could but ended up with a tirade of "Pat Butcher" chants. Fair play to her though, she was chanting "Cru Cru Crusaders" with our fans on the way out.

Our lads definitely looked batter than the scoreline suggested but did tire after 60 minutes whe our defence started to leak.

Great fans, Great stadium and staff. Great day out...but we definitely won the singing!

Nobody could argue with that - you nilled us there. But I think we won the singing at our last visit to your place.

Great set of fans and I hope to see your club go from strength to strength. You certainly gave us a game until you just ran out of steam.
