Both have had more than enough time to commit to the club, and clearly don't want to be here next season.

Briscoe (awful pass at the start of the game aside) barely got one decent pass all afternoon, and therefore is a luxury we don't need.

Tickle gave yet another anonymous display, and is now 30.

Cut our losses on both and use the large amount of money this will free up to sign a No7.

same here! briscoe is only used to get us field position when we are on our own line and not utilised, maybe down to houghton being only able to pass one way so he and crooks never see the ball!

tickles' best years are behind him, useful for goal kicks which we have plenty of cover for!

Have to agree with the OP. The team aren't good enough to keep us hanging on. Time for the club to be tough.

Tickle not doing enough. Would never want a player like Briscoe to leave the club though.

yeah lets just rip up the contracts of the only 2 players we have in the current National team squad, that would be a smart move.

He's a great player but I think he is messing the club about.

Both are good, but not good enough to put our entire recruitment plans for 2014 on hold for. The situation where the club are sitting there waiting for their agents to call with news is ridiculous. If they wanted to stay they'd have signed by now. I also don't think Tickle will be anywhere near the England squad on current form.

I think its the poorest 2nd row we have had in years. Would keep Briscoe but not Tickle. Batemen or Whitehead of Bradford they are proper 2nd rowers

I'd give them both deadlines, pretty obvious they're keeping our offers as a last resort.

you can tell that briscoe's not bothered atm.. His minds somewhere else. But i feel the longer he carries on this form, the worse it's going to get with him..

Tickle, well good player but not worth as much to us now. Yes goal kicking spot on but it's time to bring someone else in.. (Trade for Manu??)

Tickle has been a fantastic servant to this club and IMO one of the best value for money signings we've made in the recent past. He's not come back the same this season but not going to write him off... just yet

Briscoe was poor and yeah I think this contract thing (his doing) is taking his eye off the ball - both literally and metaphorically. Would I want to see him go at this moment in time? No. Would I want to keep him at the end if the season if he keeps on his current trajectory? Also No

Briscoe should be playing out of his skin if he's put himself in the shop window . He's looking very poundland at the moment though .

Joke offload from Briscoe who should know better - left us on the back foot early doors. Not sure that he'll kill it in Oz as I don't think he's the player he was 12 months ago. Tried hard afterwards like they all do but not enough.

I'd try with Briscoe not fussed with Tickle either way.

We're going to need serious recruits, AGAIN, next season.

Biggest concern for me is the forwards (aside from the perennial concern of having no bloody halves), O'Meley is retiring (although yesterday he looked to me like he already had), Lynch is shot, Tickle is way below average at the moment, Houghton can't pass or take a quick PTB, Heremia is, well, rubbish. Whiting plays like a plodding 2nd row no matter where he gets picked, the list goes on.

How many times can you rebuild a side and go nowhere?

I genuinely hope we see AP's ruthless side.

Galea should have taken it, no problem with the offload and wish more of our players would do it.

Always though tickle was a bit overrated, because he I a great kicker, he avoids critism of others.

Briscoe is a good player and again yesterday looked liked of the few players to break through, but we don't use him enough, for that reason I wouldn't offer him a massive wage.

We need to strengthen in far more areas.

We need a strike centre, running halfback, impact prop and a line breaking backrow.

First player I'd try and sign would be hock. Just the type of player we need, wigan want rid and if we offered them money I'd sure they would accept.
