ONE CHANGE FOR HULL AHEAD OF WIDNES TRIP
Hull FC head coach Peter Gentle has made one change to his squad for Saturday's trip to the Widnes Vikings.
Danny Tickle is named formally for the first time this season, although he did return to action last weekend following an arm injury as a late replacement for concussed half back Daniel Holdsworth.
The Australian stand-off has also retained his place though from last week's initial 19-man squad, meaning Tickle replaces Brett Seymour this time around.
Pace man Tom Lineham will keep his place on the wing ahead of Jason Crookes who is recovering from a short term injury sustained at St Helens two weeks ago, while head coach Peter Gentle has also said centre Joe Arundel is pushing hard for a recall after impressing on dual registration at York.
"I've waited 12 months to have these sorts of tough decisions about team selection. We're starting to get a few players coming back in and it's healthy for the squad and good for competition for places," Gentle told www.hullfc.com
"What it does is just put everyone on notice. The players know they can't string a couple of bad games together as we've got some very talented players waiting to get a go.
"Josh Bowden is still waiting for his chance and Dean Hadley is killing it up at York. Joe Arundel and Jack Briscoe are playing well up there too so there's plenty of pressure to perform with the depth we have to our squad this year."
Squad: Arundel, Briscoe, Crooks, Galea, Green, Heremaia, Holdsworth, Horne, Houghton, Johnson, Lineham, Lynch, McDonnell, O'Meley, Pitts, Tickle, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman

I'd like to see Whiting get a start with Galea on the bench but I wouldn't be disappointed with this line-up

Can't decide between the above with Pitts on the bench, or start with Whiting instead of Johnson and have Galea on the bench. Depends how fit Tickle is, really.

Pitts has to stay as we need 4 props. One of Tickle, Whiting or Galea should drop out.

| Harsh on Pitts leaving him out, I thought for the first two games he was our best prop apart from Green. I agree with whoever it was that said Lynch has had the least impact of the props this season, I wonder if that's because he's playing less minutes so we don't notice him as much?
I'd pick the same team as Panda but with Pitts in instead of Galea.

He has been in as 5th prop though, not sure on him being one of a four. He's done really well but so has Pitts.
