So I'm thinking of getting Hull FC live this season and was just wondering what the coverage was like for this season? Saw a few people were a little unhappy about quality last season, has it improved for this season? Also, how long after games are the full match highlights published?

Bargain for £60, you get all the programmes which would cost £39 alone. I've found the streaming/quality better this year too. Bradford game came out Weds, I think.

Yup, full games are out on Wednesdays this season but the highlights are released earlier - Monday I think?
Last week's commentary was a disappointment as they used Yorkshire Radio but as the game was moved the Yorkshire Radio commentary was for the Castleford game. However, last night was pure quality with Mark Ash (I think?) and Clarkey. Way superior to DDD last season or Blunderside any season. |

I signed up in the shop and did it by D/D. They told me i would get the username and password within 48 hours but i got it the same day. That was during the week, at a guess you might be up and running on monday, as they send it by email. |

Kosh much as I respect your input on this board can I just correct you and point out that Matt Dean is the sports editor on Radio Humberside, so you are hardly likely to get anything from him, and the E mail he will get from FC Live will either be from Matt Adams or Matt Holden. |

There is a note on the 'what's on this week' section saying that the viewing of the Saints game is delayed due to technical issues. FC are using a different viewing platform to the one used last season, sounds like they are having a few teething problems. I've had problems viewing full match replays on my Android phone, the club are trying to fix this too.

You would have thought if they had "internet issues" at the office that someone might have gone home to upload it. Even on old DSL it should not take more than a couple hours, the files are much smaller this year, Bradford was only 650meg.
Ironic that the stadium is sponsored by the City's internet provider. I really was looking forward to watching this game.

650meg, that's the pits, I didn't re-subscribe to the service because of the poor qualty as well as the lack of response from the club when I made a query regarding their statement to me that the quality would get better during the season. Clearly that was untrue and the file size seems to support that the quality is still lacking...
Saying that I'm coming to more games this season so the subscription will cover the cost of one of them...just |
