As well as rugby league benefiting from the high profile support of Bradley Wiggins, it won't do Wigan any harm either. Got to thinking.....who is Hull's highest profile supporter (Nick Barmby, Luke Campbell?) and would the club benefit from marketing and promoting their connection with us?

I'd suggest Durham is fairly high profile but due to being a radio presenter, is not the kind of person needed to front a kind of PR campaign as this relies more in a recognisable face.

A good number of their players going back a few years have been RL fans. Of the current batch Rooney & Ferdinand are the most notable, particularly Ferdinand who has gushed about Sam Tomkins numerous times. |
