| I listened to last weeks (24/01/13) Radio Manchester - Rugby League Extra. The Wigan Owner Ian Lenagan stated that over the last 18 months Gareth Hock has needed persuading to stay at Wigan. He said some time ago Hock insisted he wanted to leave Wigan and was adamant he was going to Hull FC. It seems there was some of truth in the Hock to Hull rumour of about 12 months ago.

You'd swap a proven professional for a disloyal drug using scumbag, really?

The most consistently good performer FC have had for five years and a good injury record over that period too and amazing goal kicking accuracy and you would swap him for Hock? Very strange. He would have missed two of those years for his drug ban and missed a whole host of matches due to discipline.

This is well worth a listen. Ian talks a lot of sense and seems very shrewd although I don’t think Wigan will go as well as he does this year with Hock, Lima, Finch, Leuluaia and Carmont missing.

I must have missed something, isn't Tickle Widnes bound?
(and even if not, I wouldn't want Hock)

| I doubt very much we'd ever get Hock now even if we wanted him. Didn't Lenagan say himself that they wouldn't let him go to any of the top end teams that would be challenging Wigan, which hopefully we will be.
