How earned the right to play in the derby?

its not really about earning the right to play as the first friendly of the season is just about getting a hit up against opposition. gentle won't select on how the team performed yesterday, though i would expect a similar team to that which started the second half to start the game. he could well experiment at half back just as rovers will be doing

probably lots of changes in the second half though less youngsters on the pitch as they have the york friendly to play as well

I'm fairly certain the individual in the picture is him, but he's not guilty of anything at the moment, in fact he hasn't been charged with anything so far.

Don't think there is any question about the identity but as Smiggs says not guilty or charged of anything at present.

Anyway BOT I think PG will go with pretty much his ideal starting 17 with a few curve balls to keep everyone guessing. He did state on Humberside that Ticks wasnt risked along with Kent & Johnson. Got the impression Kent & Johnson would feature this weekend with the possibility of Tickle depending how the game is going, most likely getting a full run out at York.

After recent events Lineham may play in the first team on Sunday

Recent events out of the equation, it's blindingly obvious that Lineham is one of the two best wingers at the club and should start. I think we signed Crookes before we realized how good Lineham actually was. I don't see any point carrying a winger on the bench, so I'd send Crookes off to York. I thought our second half team was pretty much our best option, but I'd find places for Lineham, Green and Whiting.

So you don't mind signing players just to send them to your "feeder" club? York will be happy

After our fans forum tonight Peter Gentle couldnt speak highly enough anout Dean Hadley so looks like you could be getting an uo and coming cracker .
