| Cracking line up of our sportsmen and women this year. My prediction is
1 Bradley Wiggins
2 Andy Murray
3 Ben Ainslie
Might just be worth a couple of quid I reckon!

Too 'all-encompassing' to constitute a team I think.
I'd say Team SKY/British Cycling.
Which leads to....
Coach of the Year - Brailsford.
Which leads to...
SPOTY - Wiggo
Bolt for international.

| Would expect Wiggins to get it due to being the first Brit to win the Tour De France as well as his Olympic success.
You would also expect it to be dominated by Olympic athletes.
1, Bradley Wiggins
2, Chris Hoy
3, Ben Ainslie

| Not surprised to see so many olympians on the list but will go for
1. Wiggins
2. Murray
3. Hoy
All won at the Olympics, Murray getting to Wimbledon final was brilliant but his win in the US Open was well deserved but can't help but be in awe of anyone who can actually compete in the Tour de France let alone win it, Wiggins for me

| If it is true to the word personality.
Then it woould be
Nicola Adams
Mo Farah
Jessica Ennis
Murray would not be anywhere near to winning.
Team of the year has got to be Leeds Rhinos surely after winning it from 5th again

| 1 Wiggins - tour alone would win him it for me, 1of sports toughest events over many days and different conditions and broke records along the way. backing up 10days later to win an Olympic gold.
2 farah -to come from were he has in his career to that level in them events was brilliant.
3 Ennis or Murray -Ennis was probably athlete with most expectation on her before the games and still delivered. Murray won a grand slam and competed all year at the highest level.
Steve Prescott to win Helen rollerson award! That guy isn't getting even 5% of the recognition he deserves!!!

He is more an irresistible force than a personality. The one who made me smile the most throughout the summer was Ellie simmons but she has no chance.

Poulter's last 5 on day 2 of the Ryder cup was, IMO, as good as anything I witnessed in a superlative year of sport, and a catalyst for the unparalleled drama of day 3. Astonishing. I don't even like golf that much.

What Poulter did will never be forgotten but was only over 3 days....Wiggins was over 2000 miles over more days...then he tries to help Cavendish win in the olympics then goes out and does the stuff again on the weds and wins gold....nobody did anywhere near that much as him.
Wiggins
Farrah
Weir
Coach of year..David Brailsford
Team of year...GB cycling
Helen rollason...Prekkie
Special achievement/lifetime award...Kath Grainger
Overseas...Micheal Phelps.
