Very rare i say this but i thought Child had a great game tonight.

I agree, best performance I've seen him give. Apart from the offsides and what I thought was a forward pass for their 2nd try, he was pretty much spot on.

Allowed a skiny 10 for both teams, but it's hard to notice a ref in such a one sided game.

Easy to ref a game with a one-way score.

Handled Brough and his constant whinging very well, the petulant little runt was ruining the game until Childs put him in his place and shut him up. He also penalised Manu a couple of times for play acting and holding defenders in at the play the ball. One of his better games.

Thought he was as useless as ever myself. Had to watch on TV so got the benefit of replays and he was poor throughout for both sides.

Apart from this thread, it's nice to be able to talk about the game without mentioning the ref.

Thought he was inconsistent at times, some of our fans were getting on his back but refs will almost always favour home team with noisy support,he was no different tonight, didnt affect the outcome though,but i thought he caned us first half slightly

As a complete neutral I though he was biased to Hull for some reason. I thought it was a very poor performance from him last night. But for me he is probably the best ref in SL.

Never noticed much of him tbh, which in my book is always a good sign.

Best game i've seen him have.

My only complaint would be that he kept a very skinny 10 and allowed too much laying on at the ruck, which slowed the game down until Huddersfield tired in the second half. Otherwise definitely one of his best performances.

thought he was poor gave a grapple tackle on manu well why not the other 50 in the game pinged manu for moving off the mark, again random, markers not square once then ignored it thought at 1 point the tacklers had nodded off in the tackle they were there so long, if hull hadnt been bar far the best team on the pitch u may have all been moaning more. Oh and the pen right on half time briscoe clearly knocks it into the defender, but as i say gratz on a professional annialation of your opposition this evening and good luck vs the salary cap benders
