i know its hard for us fans at the mo but at least pg has got the balls to get rid of the dead wood in the team, yeah we are going to win sweet fa this season but at least the players next season will be gentles this is exactly what we need

I will just wait and see how things go,slowly losing the heart to go now.

Seen it a few times but this time we have a owner who wants success,not profit and a coach who knows what he is dpoing and what he needs to do it.will never lose the heart.

Things seem different with this regime, the clearout and recruitment actually appear to have a purpose.

Must admit we seem to have had our share of deadwood,that bloody axe must need sharpening soon.

I'm optimistic about the future for FC, cant argue with what Pearson did for city and he seems to be bringing the same level of expectation to FC, all the confirmed signings we've made are of good quality and the ones which are leaving, Manu aside, I dont think will be missed or we will be unable to replace.

I agree though that we need to get out of this several season rut we are in of 'next season will be better'

I agree, but what we need is a GOOD fullback, a GOOD 6 and a couple of GOOD props. Not just any rubbish like what we've been picking up over the years.

However, I have lots of faith in this regime and I personally think Peter Gentle is brilliant. He doesn't make daft excuses about why we lost, he says it how it is!

We can all do that, its having the ability to rectify the issue that would make him brilliant and not just to say 'we were rubbish'

Yes we can as fans, but for a coach to say it is another thing. Sandycock, for example, blames everything possible other than the teams performance. Whereas when FC are "Atrocious" he lets the team know it!

You cant polish a turd and some of the players he has inherited in key positions would represent exactly that.

Yes we gave Agars several seasons of patience to build 'his team' and he did nothing with it so I dont think its too much to ask to give PG the two seasons he appears to need

I think we all agree that P.G. can`t just wave a magic wand and everything will be hunky dorey.
He seems to know what he wants and is aiming for that end.After the last few seasons I reckon myself I can hang on and see what develops without getting too jittery.For the first time in a while I actually am beginning to feel uplifted by events at F.C.
