Obviously very disappointed with the loss yesterday, but once again it showed up that we don't have a natural 'leader' on field when the going gets tough.

Not one of the Hull the players seem capable of 'calming' things down on the park when momentum goes against us.

At times we were 'headless' chickens running around 'bravely'.

Yes, some stand out individual performances again...but hey, Seymour "I'll lead the team around the park" seems very, very hollow.

Seymour isn't fit, and even if he was, Im not sure he's good enough. He and Horne can't move the team around, we need to get a top halfback in,but we've needed that for the last 6 years.

Seymours with us for another 2 and a half years mate so he's gonna be pivotal in what we achieve, or don't. I'd take the view of not writing hin off just yet. You can only have one leader in a team for me. Lynch is experienced and gives 100% but not a born leader for me.

Oh I know we're stuck with the guy, but he's about as inspirational as lettuce from what I've seen, no confidence in the guy to change a game. I'd imagine this is my last season even giving a toss to be honest, the game just doesn't interest me anymore, with s like Ganson runing it it seems there are so many better things to do with my time and money.

To be fair Westy was rallying the guys. Before the try he was seen saying "one ore set" trying to fire the guys up.

Rovers just probably wanted it and deserved it a little bit more. We just put far too much preassure on ourselves.

At the end of the day we should of had the game wrapped up but we didn't. The game was ours yet we failed to play for the full 80.

I suppose it depends who we sign next season because i agree that seymour isnt the answer at 7. So if we sign a fullback then we're stuck in the same rutt, but if we move horney to fb then we can maybe sign a leader to play 7 and move seymour to 6 which would be better imo

I'm not sure it's that we don't have a leader, it's perhaps more that we don't have enough players who actually listen and concentrate.

The standard of the ref's are poor they are putting a lot of fans off from going to see game
Fans get feed up after games it's the ref who is talk about most and not if it was a good game .If has a worker you made as many errors has this lot of ref's you would be sacked .I can understand people point of view and are feed up when money is short people want value for they cash

Fans have been bagging referees since the game started and will continue to do so for as long as the game continues.

Don't try and kid anyone that today's referees are any worse than the likes of Billy Thompson, Fred Lindop (both of whom obviously hated Hull FC), Eric Clay or even that humpty-backed bastad Thorpey. Ronnie Campbell was one of the fittest referees of the 70s/80s era, if a winger took an interception on his own line, Campbell would still be on the half-way line when he touched down. They may have appeared better simply because the game was played at a snail's pace compared to the modern game.

Players had to pace themselves at one time no subs and if you go hurt and went off you played with a man down .Today there is one ref who cannot count he has done it twice .You stick up for ref's because you are or something to do with being a ref ? This lot are a bag of crap they make to many errors and they are spoiling the game .You can put has much spin on it if you want There are inconsistent .Ganson gave two penalties in the second half and he didn't single what for even when the Hull captain ask he just said because I have penalized you. the man is a law unto himself
