However the sooner we get over today the better, if I was Gentle I wouldn't even review the videos this week...I'd give the squad a few days off to get over the knocks they are playing with, and i'd welcome back several first team players and treat the Leeds game like it was the first game of the season.

Today was always going to be a big ask, and unfortunately was too much for the players in the end. However we have a fair few due back so we can kick on and get the season back on track.

He also said they would like to have played next weekend and used the defeat as a motivator but they would carry it forward to the Leeds game and watch out Leeds.

I'm really not worried. Take 8 or 9 first-teamers out of any SL side and they'll struggle against full strength opposition. When we get a few players back we'll trouble anybody. And hopefully, we've got our injury crisis out of the way early, so we can head towards the end of the season in good shape. Hopefully.

And an opposition afforded the luxury of resting players recently - and those who did play last week had a glorified training session.

I think if we lost by 2-4 points and looked the part, that would halt the slide in momentum ahead of two very winnable games against London and Rovers.

You're probably right. But we'd still have the "you haven't beaten anyone yet" mantra ringing in our ears. Taking Leeds' scalp would shut them up, would probably attract back some of the waverers and give us an extra bit of self-belief.

You've got more chance of knitting fog pal. The Leeds fixture list has us down for a "bye" on the 5th of May. It's a shame we can't start playing you at the Magic weekend as well.

Lets be honest,did anybody truly believe we would win today?Even us at full strength would have found Wigan an handfull.Not saying we wouldn`t have won with a full strength squad,but it would still have been tough I.M.O.
