im starting to think that the k.c is bad luck lol.never have i known hull to have so many injured players out at once in 30 odd years of going.

The game is a lot different now. It's played at faster speeds than it used to be, and the impact is a lot harder. Injuries are more likely.

I'm pretty sure there was one point in 2003/2004 when we only had eight fit players at training.

We've been no worse affected than any other club in the last few season though. I think Long was the only, erm. long term casualty last season.

So every ground in S/L has a curse on them .Every teams go through the season having injuries some more then others
If I remember one season Hull had 3 players with broken legs .The speed the game is played at injuries are bound to happen .We are unlucky so far we must be due some better luck on the injury front.Sorry matey it's not a KC curse just things that happen in our sport

The game at Headingly when Horney made his debut, I think we had 12 first teamers out injured that day and that was well before the KC.

I played cricket once at The Circle before the KC got built and didn't get injured.

Perhaps there isn't a curse after all?

The RL have gotto wake up and do away with this 2 games at Easter carry on, ridiculous in todays game.

It's tough on the players but it's only 1 weekend a year and the clubs benefit from good crowds

Maybe it's the new regimes training techniques?....The last lot got this levelled at them so I'll just throw it into the melting pot.

not far fetched at all, if it is the training regime I hope it means the players injured will come out stronger the other side of it.

The clubs may get a good crowds over the weekend itself, but I often wonder if that is just outweighed by the poor crowds that follow the weekend after. We've had CC rounds the weekend after Easter the last few years so it is hard to assess though.
