I know it doesn't suit everyone but much better IMO. Atmosphere was better tonight (although may have been down to the closeness of the game) and it just always seems more of a spectacle under lights for me

Not sure it is Friday nights that make it better. I think the fans are warming to the honesty in our club. It is Feeling like our club. I feel the previous regime sucked the life out of every aspect of the club and it showed in the stands. Next weeks derby could be the most boisterous for noise in a very long time.

No improvement in attendance so wont sway Pearson one way or the other.

I think we should meet halfway and play on Saturdays

I like the fridays but they are a bit rushed. Sunday is more of a leisurely day and you have plenty of time to get sorted for the game.

Personally I prefer Friday nights but as mentioned overall it will be gate size which will dictate to AP.

Best atmosphere for some time tonight.

I thought the atmosphere was poor for the majority of the game, jsut the last quarter where the crowd got into a bit of voice.

I was a little surprised at the announced attendance.

The atmosphere was great but I'm not sure that's anything to do with the floodlights. It'll give Pearson food for thought, though, I suppose.

Better atmosphere, higher attendance than the last 2 home games and it just looks better under lights.

I'd always wanted Sundays back, but I do like the odd Friday, a mix off the two would be nice.

Me too - looked fuller than previous games this season and by a greater margin than announced. Disappointing gate IMO.

Think the quality of opposition will have had more to do with the higher attendance than it been on a Friday night.

Sunday personally for me everytime, however each to their own and bring on the derby - where there will be no issues with the atmosphere

I questioned the validity of the announced gates on a few occasions last year, as I felt a few games had 'inflated' figures announced. Whether they were just counting season ticket and corporate ticket holders who weren't turning up, or just downright lying I don't know. But I definately think a couple of games last year had <10K in the ground and still 10/11K was announced.

As for last nights crowd I was disapointed. I can understand that some will have been put off by our injury news, and some will be saving for the more attactive games against Rovers, Wigan, Hudds and Leeds to come...but we are playing well, playing a much more exciting brand of rugby, and last nights game was end to end stuff (if a little error prone from both sides at times) and deserved a bigger crowd.

Friday night every week for me.

Always seems a bit flat on a Sunday afternoon. Under the lights, every game feels like a big game.

Under Pearson and Gentle every game is made to feel like a big game, fridays for me every time...

Same here Fridays for me always feels better with the flood lights on .
South stand was fuller than normal too .

I really don't mind, Fridays do mean I miss the Sky game though.

The West Stand seemed fuller towards the North stand than usual too, it seems to be the East stand that has lost its appeal.

it feels like they took Chav Corner out, and the fans have never been back since.

on another note, anyone else think it is strange they haven't opened the West Upper for the derby yet? Rovers have sold out the North stand, and you'd have thought we'd have given them the West Upper to sell by now?
