If you are talking about the swinging punch I think you are then our big haired friend for which this thread was started had already commited the penalty for leading with the elbow.

Does that make the Westwood swing OK then? Moa got sent of for a clumsy challenge, Westwood got nowt for a deliberate attack.

The inconsistency by the officials is really not helping our great game.

And some thought he was just poorly handled here and would go well at Wigan. The reality is he's as dumb as they come and what you see is what you get, he's a complete pudding.

In this game there was no way Westwood was going to get anything the very second Krusty (I admit I can't spell his name) wasn't at least given 10 mins for attacking the head with an elbow.

Some real dumb play by Lauaki tonight he doesnt seem to have improved his discipline at all even though he looks a bit leaner.

I can't ever recall penalties being reversed for retaliation. Once you blow for a penalty that's the game stopped. I have blown for a penalty, sent a player from the non-offending side off for needlessly running in and then continued to give his team the penalty.

No i'm not I am just stating that it is hardly a stretch to see how Warrington got the penalty due to Krusty's actions so I fail to see how you find it so hard to understand unless you think the ref should have just called play on.

I'm usually the first to defend referees but after tonight's performance, when added to the games I've seen him officiate in so far this season, I think Silverwood is no longer fit for purpose.

If Terry Halibut can get dropped for a maths misfunction, then Silverwood shouldn't be allowed on a pro pitch again this season.

I still can't believe he got a 3 year deal at Wigan after his performances for us last year. It beggars belief.

Sure it used to happen quite a lot when I was playing, but then I played a lot more union than league. Thought it was done in both codes though.
