GENTLE NAMES 19 TO TAME THE TIGERS

Hull FC head coach Peter Gentle could name an unchanged side for Sunday’s trip to Castleford Tigers.

The Black and Whites head to the PROBIZ Coliseum to face struggling Castleford who haven’t won since the opening day of the season, a far cry from their visitor's form which including a 58-10 mauling of Widnes last time out.

Mark O’Meley’s one-match suspension has now passed but he doesn’t return to the squad due to an ankle problem, although there is a recall for young half back Danny Nicklas who replaces Liam Kent in the only change to the 19-man squad.

Martin Aspinwall, Richard Horne and Tony Martin all left the field against Widnes last weekend with minor injuries, but the trio look set to feature this weekend.

Hull FC squad: Aspinwall, Briscoe, Bowden, Ellis, Horne, Houghton, Green, Lynch, Martin, Manu, McKinnon, Moa, Nicklas, O’Carroll, Seymour, Sharp, Tickle, Turner, Whiting.

Same as last week for me with Nicklas and Green missing out.

I'd go with an unchanged side from last week. Nobody deserves to be dropped. Might have put Crooks into the 19 for incase Martin's neck issue re-emerges (as he had issues during both Saints and Widnes games).
I guess the inclusion of Nicklas in the 19 is due to Horne going off early last week - if he isn't 100% by Sunday we could see Ellis starting and Nicklas on the bench.

Possibly so, but we can't underestimate them, it would be just like Hull to lose on sunday after performing so well the past few games

The old Hull would have but we said that the week before the Widnes game, different mentality being coached into the players now.

Our hicup was Salford where we didnt perform and didnt Peter Gentle let us know and the team I bet.

For me they will be up for it.

I definitely think we'll be up for it, just warning against resting too many players like wigan

Philly teams used to play out of the First Union Centre or FUC.

Cas are getting battered by everyone. Even with Danny Orr back, I still think we'll comfortably win by 20+ points

I dunno, the 'Sports Direct Arena @ St. James' Park' is a pretty awful one.
