After what many would say was a good point against the best team in the league I thought it was great to hear what Peter Gentle said in his post match interview. Basically saying that whilst the effort was good he was pretty disappointed with the way we played. For a while the fans have spoke about not accepting mediocrity and for me this interview just about summed up the difference between this regime and the old one.

Couldnt agree more. Refreshing to hear and quite correct with two basic errors which cost trys. Heres looking forward to the season ahead.

Sounds like a tough man to please. Especially liked the part about our attack putting pressure on our defence.

Said the same last night, refreshing to hear him being honest and not bigging up a point just because it was Wire. He was spot on about the attack causing the defence problems too. I'm happier the more I hear from Gentle.

Same for me. In some ways the most pleasing thing about yesterday was both Gentle and Houghton being clearly disappointed that we hadn't won, when you just know that under Agar we'd have been celebrating the draw.

People complain when poster like to know who the ref is
but that ref has a bearing on the game .When it's Ganson you know
your team is going to struggle .Peter Gentle will soon find out which
ref he can trust to keep the game flowing .8 - 3 penalty count
against your team you are going to struggle playing last years league
winners.Both games Leeds v HKR and Hull FC v Wires the ref has took stage .
Its about time the refs should be marked and if they had a bad game they should be down graded.

Agree refs should be marked or at least be asked about cotentious decisions.
I can't see them getting down graded though, there's too much of a shortage of refs through the whole game

As far as I know he didn`t,but being top of a league is some form of championship,isn`t it? If not,I stand corrected.

Last year when a season pass wasn't feasible because of work the decision (apart from money) whether to go or not was partly if either Silverwood or Ganson were reffing the game.
Would love to know the win/lose ratio when we have either of those two clowns.

Gentle appears to go about his business with minimum fuss, he has not set any unrealistic targets and has said he expects to see improvements every game and that will do for me, I was more than happy with his interview...

part of the benefit of having McRae in, I doubt we'll see Gentle courting the media, he'll go quietly about his nusiness and leave McRae to do the media stuff.

Said the same thing last night on Twitter, I'm pleased that Gentle isn't! Great to see the overall attitude of the club changing.

Impressed with Gentle so far. I suspect most supporters were very happy with a point yesterday but I was really pleased that Gentle spoke of his disappointment.
