Been thinking that i want to delete my account at some point but after trawling through for an hour i cant find any info on how to delete it at all???

you can't, you can change the username if you want, or I suppose admin could ban you if requested, but you cannot delete an account afaik.
(out of interest, why do you want to delete it? |

Several reasons to delete it including my details on a site which i no longer use is not really something i want. Why the hell cant people delete their account then??? surely that inflates user, member figures substantially and artificially? ah well. if necessary i will just stop using it but i would still prefer it to be deleted if i stopped using the site altogether

the board rarely quotes member figures, just posts/visits etc.
why don't you sue the forums anymore? |

The site holds virtually zero information on members, and you can go into your profile and delete everything except your email address AFAIK. Accounts aren't deleted because it isn't necessary and because you'd be surprised at the number of folk who leave 'forever' and then come back. |
