He came on because Houghton was injured. Presumably he would have otherwise spent the entire game sat on his backside. It's beyond stupid.

Just wondering who you would have had on the bench to cover the backs if one had got injured? Think the problem is we are now out of flexible/utility backs with Washbrook and Whiting starting.

Then taking him off 8 minutes into the 2nd half.

I'm not too fussed about Sharp being on the bench per se, it's sort of like carrying a utility back, as he just replaces Whiting who would then fill in. My problem is throwing him on with 5 minutes to go just for the sake of it.

think thats a bit harsh on sharp we know he has had a few dodgy games, a good coach would of stuck with him and sorted him out but whilst we have supporters who heckle him all the time your not going to help .
give the man a chance, 7 mins is not going to give him much time to impress but if it keeps the boo boys happy all is fine

Why dont we go for two impact wingers on the bench Sharp and Lynne. It would give Gaga more options with five mins to go, now we are short of forwards
