Anyone know if there are any roadworks or any likely issues for tonight? Having to set off quite late so will be pushing it anyyway and don't want to hit any unexpected delays

you'll probably have a better run setting off late anyway, avoiding the leeds friday night rush hour malaise. been on the 62 a bit last week and no roadworks at all between hull and leeds

Stay away from Leeds City Centre (Inner Ring Road) major roadworks in the tunnel:

I was at leeds the other week for the Bradford game and Kirkstall Road had major works ongoing as well, it took me 40 minutes from the train station to the ground by road!

Allow plenty of time.

Fook, is it quicker to take the A1 and drop in from the north of leeds?

I'd say come in on the A64, turning towards Horsforth on the Outer Ring Road and you'll see the signs as you near Headingley.

I doubt the Inner will be shut tonight at 7ish, although could be by the time the game is over

Where is the place to park around the ground? First time I've driven to Leeds so not sure where is best.

Come in on the M621, off at Elland Road and into Leeds on the A643 is the best way. There'll be a fair amount of traffic on the A643 but there always is.
The roadworks on Kirkstall Road shouldn't be a problem going to the game either, there are no lane closures, and traffic moves fairly quickly through there at the moment.

Don't come in on the A1/A64/Ringroad, it'll take ages.

heres how i get there - as dnats said off at elland road and a643 to the gyratory (large roundabout) then a647 armley road for three quarters of a mile to a set of traffic lights in armley. turn right onto ledgard way and this leads to the traffic lights at the bottom of cardigan road (go straight on across kirkstall road) and up the hill to the ground. misses kirkstall road out completely

Just done it in one hour straight through city centre , kirkstall road quieter than normal, parked down street opposite co op
