just wondering where people think joe westermans best position is, this seasons hes played in the halves, second row and loose forward. i dont know if this has been disscussed before and im sorry if it has on a previouse post but i cant be botherd trolling threw 10+ pages of posts.

personally i think its loose forward, played amazing for castleford here and his best games this season were in this position imo

When everyones fully fit I would prefer him in the second row. I really liked what someone else mentioned, playing with Manu on the left and Westerman on the right. I think this would give us better attacking options right across the pitch.

down the middle as a loose forward but am quite happy with him been on the edge gives us good attacking abiltity on the right side that weve lacked

He hasn't played through the middle as a 13 yet for us. On the right edge for me, where there's more space. If Gleeson can conquer his demons we have one hell of a right side next year with (potentially) Seymour, Westerman, Gleeson and Sharp.

Most of the great 13's haven't been restricted to the middle of the park. Hanley played all over the park, as he had the quality to do so. I think Westerman would also be best used as a roaming lock forward, provided we have the structure in the halfbacks.
