First good non derby crowd next monday against Saints ?

I'll happily keep eating some pie if we play and win like this every week. I must admit over the past few weeks the players certainly seemed to have stepped up and I believe this is because of the new changes to the back line, Gleeson , Phelps and Obst all improving the squad IMO.

Are we just having a "good week" or have we finally turned the corner and are seeing the fruits of Agars team ?

Too early to say if we have turned a corner, the good news is we have got better completion rates, are offloading at the right times, are using the bench better, have a real team spirit and have been able to close games out.

Way to early to say we've turned it around. But it's 2 more points. And that is what counts. Brilliant Easter period thought we'd do KR but now Wire - fantastic.

Spot on, Paul. We've certainly played to a better standard in these two games than we've seen for a long time, now let's hope we continue to build from here.

Just my opinion, but I actually think we played well in the Castleford game as well. Which for me is when we really started coming together. Obviously that day was rather ruined though by Childs.

The good thing is that Agar seems to be learning from is past mistakes.

His bench rotation was a major cause for concern early in the season, and it now seems alot better. The commentators today said the bench won it for us today, whether this was down to a good selection of the 17 or well timed interchanges i'm not sure.

The brand of rugby in 2009/10 was awful to watch, 5 drives and a poor kick at the end of it. We're now throwing the ball around for fun, offloads everywhere, the ball getting whipped out from side to side, Yeamo scoring for fun, both our wingers have scored 5 or 6 a piece - this didn't happen before.

It seems as though we've atleast started to turn the corner, just not fully around it yet.

I personally feel that the Saints game will be the bigger test out of the recent games.

Warrington have being hit and miss recently (not taking anything away from the win certainly thought we would lose today) and beating rovers is not going to shake SL up as much as the win means to us personally.

Saints are playing some good stuff and it'll be a test next monday I am sure which will be bigger then the last two games. IF we win that then things will be looking hell a lot better for us.

Westerman and Radford should be back for that one, hopefully no more lost from today's game. Monday will help, longer turnaround.

does dowes deserve to play against saints instead of radders ?

Hopefully some of the stay-aways will turn up next week and get behind the club.

I think the post title of "boycotting the boycott ?" is somewhat childish, especially from someone who wasn't actually at Warrington today.

Yes, we played well, but jumping on the "I was right and you are all wrong" bandwagon after 2 wins in an otherwise miserable season is pretty insulting IMO.

Not all of us have Easter Monday off work I am afraid. Not when you work for a nationwide money grabbing company like I do. However we could talk about Childish stuff, maybe like your hatred for Leeds and Rovers.





I don't see this thread as that and I am firmly in the "i was wrong " camp if anything. Many people on here have said they will not go until changes have being made, well we have signed a few player and are now starting to win games. This is the first time we have gone back to back wins in a long while.

As it is, i think a win against St's will maybe bring "some" stay away supporters back, not my old man, hes firmly in the "i wont go again, while hes in charge" brigade!!!

Friday was my first home game since June, I loved it. Elated today and have just checked fixture list to see when I will be back at the KC. Still refuse to take holiday to watch after the derby fiasco last year and the poor performances. Next week its a Sky game so won't be splashing out simply because we have had too many false dawns recently and I am still not prepared to break the bank to follow the club in person. Win next week and I may just start to weaken.
I am still in the Agar out camp but over the moon to see the players actually backing him with actions and not hollow words at last. Its looking better but we still have a long way to go to get everyone back in line.
My son might get his shirt next week after all !!!

Two good performances, two good wins I admit.
However, with our current squad and with a good coach we'd be seeing these performances week in, week out.

Agar has been consistantly incompetent for too long.
