first game for my grandson yesterday he loved it now wants a season pass . and is not botherd about hull city. could not belive the fc fans singing andhow exciting it was for him well done to the faithfull for making this a special day

As long as you explain to him .Following FC is not always like that..Been doing it for thirty odd years and odd days of brilliance followed by long periods of absolute mediocrity are the norm.

Hope you told him once a Hull F C fan always a Hull fan ..Well that what my mother use to tell me my first game was in 1941 and still going strong ..Hope the lad has many happy times watching the best game in the World and the best team as well( Hull F C)

My lad has been going since the beginning of last season. After the wakey game he asked me "Have Hull FC always been rubbish dad?" Only answer I could think of was "No, not always"

Took my eldest to a couple of games last year (he was 6 at the time) and he showed no interest at all, couldn't wait to get his DS out.

Took a punt and got him a pass this year and my god, what a change in attitude!
He can't get enough of Rugby at the moment, even to the extreme of watching a couple of old videos from the Boulevard, which his Grandad gave him.
Mind you, he keeps saying his second favourite team is Warrington and I have to explain, we don't have a second favourite team, we have teams who we don't like less than others

FC's "second favourite" team will always be Castleford, even if [isome[/i of their fans have become arrogant to55pots this season.

Why is that?, I always find myself rooting for Cas,unless they are playing us of course.

I couldnt give a flying one about any other team...my "2nd" team...what a load of bolloxs...only 1 for me and as for Cas....dump of a ground and fans acting like billy big bolloxs coz they have had a easy start but wheels falling off now.

Its not a Second team per se`,it is following with interest another club,some do it with teams in the N.R.L.
Hull are my team 100%,but I do like to keep tabs on others.Everyone to their own eh?

Agreed, everyone picks who they want to win when watching a game on Sky, i don't have a second team. I just dislike certain teams more than others
