Easter Monday – Warrington (Home) – LOST 10 – 29

So, a 25% win rate with an average points scored of 16 (average is 12 points scored for the last 3 years).

Could be 50% each way this weekend I hope but fear a 100% loss

id be confident of beating kr this friday..but monday....bloody monday

They hardly give us an easy run though do they? Our Easter Monday games in the last 4 years have been Leeds, Saints, Wire, Wire after playing the dobbins on Good Friday. Has any team had a run as comparable.

Saying that, it should still be better than it is.

Not fair is it we never get to play an easy team like us


Seriously though it's what we should want isn't it? Big games , big crowds , great entertainment and atmosphere over the bank holiday. We should be excited. Remember when it was like that???

salford have done well there, wire at home followed by a trip to hudds!!!

All the away teams on the Easter Monday are harshly treated I think. Why is the Friday seemed more as a 'local' round but not the 2nd bank holiday. Bradford play Leeds in a bruiser then have to go all the way to France, Cas to saints, we're off the width of the country to Wire.

I know there probably cant be a perfect match up for all teams over the 2 days but it could be done a damn sight better than this. Cas could go to rovers, we could go Wakey, Bulls go to Hudds, crusaders to wire etc etc.

Hudds and Wire are almost guaranteed 4 points I would say.

Best we will do a win/lose but I am expecting lose/lose.

If your right Paul I think our leader may not be around for the Saints game.

Just think Rovers last 2 game and the next 2 ..they will not have been outside of the City

We tend to get shafted with Easter fixtures, compared to Leeds and Bradford who get the extra day recovery every year.

The fixture compilers don't even bother with 'near' derbies for the Monday game. Why not Hull/Cas, Rovers/Wakey, Bradford/Hudds etc. I'd rather there only be the one game to be honest (and not just because of our recent poor Easter record).

Good point I'm surprised the club haven't been more vociferous in the past regarding this. I agree that one game should be all there is over the weekend.
