The RFL today charged Hull FC coach Richard Agar with breaching the sport’s Operational Rules and a breach of the RFL’s Respect Policy.
The charges follow his criticism of referee James Child after the Engage Super League Round 8 fixture against Castleford Tigers at the KC Stadium last Friday.
The charges will be considered by an RFL Operational Rules Tribunal which is likely to convene later this month.

To be expected ..The refs are above the law ..and they all pis- in the same pot
Ref are allowed to make has many mistake as they like and answer to nobody ..But coaches are not allowed
to voice their opinion when they do they get their backsides kick

I havent heard of anything going on behind the scenes?? But i find it a joke that coaches can be fined for expressing an opinion as agar did in the press conference..its not as though anything was said personal towards mr childs, which would then be understandable..

Out of interest if he is fined how do they collect the fine if he says he won't pay. No employer can make a deduction from an employees salary without the employees authority so it can't be down that route if he refuses.

Yes they can, a deduction can be made if a magistrates orders it, it's called an attachment to earnings.
They can revoke his coaching liscence, can they not? |
