On Sunday May 18th, 2008 Hull FC lost 34-26 to Harlequins in a dire performance that saw Hull go 16-0 up against a very poor Harlequins side and then fall apart. This was also the match that saw Richard Whiting get his horrific broken leg.
The very next day Peter Sharp was sacked.
What are the chances of history repeating, hopefully with no broken legs this time.

I'm sure Peter Sharp will be hoping things turn out differently this time round.

On reflection i think we should keep him this time around. Either that or replace him with a credible competent head coach!!

I Dont expect Hall to miss a load of conversions this time either

So if Hall misses a load of conversions this week will Morgan get sacked?

I doubt it, most of us don't think we'll get to have a go at a conversion so missing loads would be a bonus..




Still there's always the sporting bet half time kicking comp....

We would have to score a load of trys in order for Hally to have the opportunity to miss loads of conversions. I think its safe to say that wont be happening this weekend against Huddersfield!

I think we will turn over Quins comprehensively, this in turn gives lots of kudos to Mr Agar for getting the boys fired up etc. We tend to put in a couple of half decent performances and follow them up with 1 or 2 dire ones. However after the flak from the fans this week the players will be motivated (Saved you a job their haven't we Richard) and get a decent win.

The only way i can see us losing this is if the players really are against Agar and they go out half hearted.

Think you'll find it was the previous year, April 6, 2007 (Good Friday) when Hally missed a load of conversions in a 30-28 defeat.
Back on topic, will the second successive coach of Hull FC lose his job after defeat at Harlequins.

Or Quins got such a thrashing last week they equally have a hard week and decide to put in a real performance. If this year has shown one thing its that Quins can match anyone on their day, add to that the Stoop hasn;t been your best hunting ground.

Personally think you'll win this one by about 12.
