| The crowd reaction towards the end was a big turning point for Agar I feel, the booing and chanting was the most significant I have heard and I think it will signal the beginning of the end for Agar. I don't think the club will sack him anytime soon but everytime we lose this booing and chanting will now increase and will ultimately lead to his demise.
I do worry about the next step the club will make as I fear they won't spend big and we are more likely to end up with McNamara than Noble or an aussie and we got simply be swapping one problem for another.
The strange thing is despite how poorly we played to tonight we bombed 4 clear tries and for that reason I do think we are kidding ourselves if we don't proportion some of the blame at the feet of the players.

Not so sure, how can you blame Briscoe for example, he is an International winger being played in the centre, the last time he played in the centre he was pants, yet Agar does it again, madness. Also his interchanges must confuse the players as much as they do us!

Playing centre wasn't the reason he knocked on with 3 tries begging. He had one of those nights, happens to everyone I guess.

| Whilst it is the players making mistakes on the pitch I just dont believe they are being prepared correctly to take the chances when they come their way. They should be well drilled so that when the occasion arrives they instinctively know what to do. The panic in our play when we get a sniff of a try is embaressing at times.

Said to Mr B when Wakey scored the try to go 6 up that that was it for Agar IMO. Question is only how long they'll let it drag on for now before putting him and us out of our collective misery. Lose next weekend and 1 from 10. Is that a tipping point? If not, what is?

| I feel sorry for the players when the criticism goes their direction. The effort is there, they just lack the gameplan and organisation to execute and kick on to win games. Agar's left as the only reason we aren't doing this.

All good points, mate. Especially the last one, I'm against Agar we're going nowhere with him in charge and need him out, but the players seem to be getting off without any blame at all. No matter what the players do, that is Agar's fault too. Everyone needs to take a share of the blame for the mess.

That'll be the players that every one of which it is thanks to Agar they are at the club?
The 'blame the players not the coach' line might have worked in his first season, but it certainly doesn't wash now. I do think anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.
When the players play like that it is because they play without belief, Agar is responsible for giving them that belief. If Noble was our coach tonight Briscoe doesn't bomb all those chances, I'd put my life on it.

That's what worries me. We've just lost at home to arguably (on paper) the worst side in SL history. If he doesn't get given the boot this week, just what will it take?

Regardless of what position he plays he still has to catch the ball and he bombed a hattrick, he has no excuses. Anyway there were plenty to blame and Briscoe has hardly ever put a foot wrong so I won't be too hard on him.
By the way most on here wanted Briscoe at centre so Agar gave them what they wanted.

That's so pathetic, it's laughable. Load of sh[ii[/ite, he's an international rugby player if he's presented with a chance he should take it. Blowing one chance can be unlucky, blowing chance after chance is inexcusable.

for him to resign but the chances of that happening arnt great either so weve got agar for another 2 years unless his new 3 year deal is announced any time soon

| the disatsfaction of the crowd certainly went up a few notches from the leeds game when the first murmerings and random agar shouts was heard, if they got macnamara i would not be going because he may actually be worse than agar rather than on a par! it will get worse and a defeat against cas will probably see mass chanting!

| I think potentially you have got as good a squad as Wigan. If coached right you could be a real force and it's such a shame to see the team putting in stinking performances week after week. It's sad that your club seems to accept mediocrity.

I'm not saying blame the player and not the coach, I am saying they have to take their shar of the blame.
My opinion has not changed since he was appointed, he is not the right man and we won't win anything or improve with him as out head coach. However, the players have to take some responsibility for their performances, we had the same under Kear and Sharp.

Agar chooses the team, positions, interchanges etc. He should have started with Longy on the bench, he should not have played certain players, his interchanges where a joke, there is no consistency this all has a knock on effect which effects the players. I guarantee if a new coach came in say next week this group of players would not perform as bad as that, the problem is not the players it is the coach.

So McNamara comes in and you think things will get better, seriously, really
Longy on the bench, what for?
Obst was signed to be the impact hooker so that's where he was picked.

| Just wrote a big long post but my iPhone cr@pped out and it seems to have disappeared lol
In summary I agree the coach is responsible but the players need to have a bit of pride as individuals and step up whether that is because of or in spite of the man in charge.

We've been saying that since the day he was appointed 2 and a bit years ago, and also since he got a 2 and half year extension all of 12 months ago.
