if wigan are appealing against tomkins (J) sending off, shouldn't our club be looking into appealing yeamans' ban?
please don't let this turn into another farcical topic like the last one ended up

| If you read the Super League site they are appealing on the severity of a 2 game suspension.

dont think we will appeal 1 match, no point. cant see joel getting anything from an appeal he was up on 2 charges anyway.

| Presumably a ban can be increased on appeal too. Give Yeamo a rest and some raw meat and let him come back firing against Quins

| So if Yeaman gets 1 match for fighting, presumeably Tomkins J got 1 match for fighting too. So did he get 1 match for intentionally ( can't see how he can say it was accidental when he runs straight at man he just fought with and hits him in face with elbow) elbowing someone on the face? Trying to think back to remember ( think it was Cowie) who came in 3rd man for Wigan and hit Morley when he played for Leeds in the face with an elbow, and how many matches he got. Was it 6? Elbowing is far more serious than a fist, and I know cos only ever broken a nose after been punched during games, but broke nose, cheekbone and eye socket when hit with an elbow during a game. Elbow should be 4 at least when its intentional like Tomkins was.

The whole disciplinary system stinks. Then again thinking about it so are most of the RFL rules.

Very lenient - potential to break Yeaman's jaw was there for all to see.

You are forgetting "the other one" plays for Wiggginn - The RFL wouldn't dare extend his ban!!

Joel is appealing his ban, (which is currently 2 games, that I think is the maximum under a category B charge, so not sure it can be extended unless they bump it to a C grade or add a game for taking the mick out of the panel).
Sam "Dying Swan" Tomkins got one game and afik isnt appeaing it.

I think the general rule recently is that if an appeal is placed and lost a second time the ban is extended (like you say for rippin the pizz of the panel) lets hope so because that was a bad one by anyones judgement..
S Tompkins, now theres an enigma isnt he!!, talent dripping from his body but a dirty , cheating little tart as well , wonder when someone will cite him during a match for undue pressure on a trapped arm... the tackled can be cited as well and the tackler remember and i cant remember a game when he does not play that one on someone..
someone was very happy after the match that they caught him with a decent jab in the mele that followed resulting in his fat lip.... you may have noticed that coley didnt want to dance with Hame either despite hame walking him backwards chatting in his shell like offering his services
the return will be interesting at the KC

| Just remember an ex player of yours Carvell got off last year for a similar offence on appeal, so Wigan (not Wiggginn) can try the same appeal system.Wonder what excuses Agar will have this weekend he always seems to come up with something to take attention from the game.

Hey if you had only won 1 in the last 5 you would be diverting from the game .....It will only get worse as the season goes on

| Best match he could possibly miss... No point in appealing, although the rfls weak stance on everything, no doubt we would get hit with a 2 match ban just for being Hull!
