Wouldn't disagree with you except I think Radford may still be around next season and possibly Horne.

Can't see Fitz carrying on and if Long is still playing it won't be for Hull. Lauaki has (up to now) been a waste of a quota space and Dowes, Washbrook, Burnett are not up to standard.

Certainly we need to do some major recruiting for next term.

radford will be here, at least one of horne and long. moa will be gone. lauaki will stay and I don't see washbrook going anywhere

id say horne has to have a stand-out year to get a deal, but i cant see it......radford will be here under contract (i forgot

Bit harsh on Burnett, showed up well at Quins so far this year by all accounts. But, he is being used correctly in the 2nd row.

The problem with signing quick fix players like Fitz and Long is that within a couple of years you have to replace them which then gives a lack of continuity which is one of the key factors in a successful side. At the end of this year its like FC are gonna have to do a mini re-build on the side which will only mean success will be even further away and the best we can hope for for us to be competitive is 2013 season imo but the problem is we'll probably take the easy option yet again and the process will repeat itself in a couple of years. Personally i cannot see this squad achieving anything other than mid table obscurity for the next 2-3 years minimum.

I think he'll stay too along with Radford. Not sure on Horne, I really do think it will depend on his fitness for the reaminder of the season. Lauaki will only go if we need the quota spots but I guess in Burnett we could have a ready made replacement?

Long and Fitz will both leave although I do think Fitz will play on but not sure we would keep him, probably go back to the NRL and do coaching as well.

Washbrook is a strange one, he may want to leave if he does not get anough opportunities but he is not an expensive memeber of the squad and Hull may wish to keep him.

I thought Radford was on a two year deal , he'll still be there next season unless the club pay him off in full.

Hope so - hope he doesn't get a pay per play deal though

If the story about Horne needing more surgery but playing through it again at the request of the club is true then I think we'll re-sign him, and morally we probably ought to.

I think even if Horne's body isn't up to playing every week he will be worth a 1 year rolling contract as cover. He's proved when he does play he's still good enough, the only problem is getting him on the pitch. Also think that Washy's good cover for us, covers a few positions all to a decent standard.

We still need an overhaul of the squad though.

Which positions do you have in mind? We saw last season that he's no good at half back. We've seen this season that he's no good at hooker. Agar has so much faith in him that he puts him on the bench and leaves him there. His best position is probably loose forward but will he ever get a game there?
