Poor attendance tonight.

First home game of the season and against Leeds we should be looking at 15,000 minimum, regardless of Sky TV. In 2005 the opening game again against Leeds had an attendance of over 17,000.

Looks like people are voting with their feet.

saw the last 10 minutes on sky, looked more like a 6000 crowd.

Was bound to happen eventually, especially given how hard times are. Quite surprised it's taken this long TBH.

Can I just say, just got home and watching the game again (no idea why!!) and the reserved seating for the East Stand looks awful - east stand looks empty - another sh*t decision for me

I was a stay at home tonight (pass holder) I would like to say i was voting with my feet but i had other reasons for missing it.
Looked very poor for a Hull/Leeds game though and no atmosphere came through on the TV.

The club have pushed there luck too far with the loyalty of fans in my opinion, we will start to see crowds drop off.

Gonna still be getting 10k at least with 9000 pass holders.

I won't be watching it back mate but it looked poor at the game, albeit the West lower was fuller than usual.

Live in Sussex and its £100 in petrol, £25 for seat plus programme then a pint. There was a time a couple of years ago I would have not even thought about the cost. Now I do as I don't get value for that any more. I have Sky so not missed it and so glad I saved a bob or two. I have also decided I will not be spending in the club shop again until the coach has gone. It will be the first time since the 80s that I haven"t had at least a shirt.

I don't suppose I will be the only one. Patience has gone now.

don't blame anyone for giving it a miss, I would've pay 23p to watch Hull at the moment, never mind £23...wish they did season pass refunds!

People may argue that we're in a recession and people can't afford to go to the games any more. I think that it will have some effect on why the attendance is low, but I don't think it's the biggest effect. I don't have a season pass because of my work patterns but if work wasn't screwed up I don't think I would get one. We do play very very poor rugby IMO. I've been saying for a while that Agar is not good enough for Hull FC. I hate to say it but the rivals across the river are looking a far better side then we are and I think they will be with Agar in charge.

If the "recession" is the main reason then why doesn't the club do something about this to get more fans in the stadium such as lowering tickets, season passes or giving freebies! The east stand looked empty and we are playing Leeds!!! Other then rovers I see Leeds as the second biggest game of the season! I thought I would never see the east stand and other areas of the ground as empty as they was, especially against our rivals!

I don't think the recession is a massive factor, yes some people are genuinely priced out of attending games due to job loss/loss of income...but for the vast majority its simply that all optimism and belief has gone that we can win SL or the CC.

what makes things worse, is that aside from Rovers and possibly Wigan...that will be the biggest away following we'll see this season.

I've left the last 3 games that I've attended (Crusaders, Rovers and tonight) asking why did I bother. Don't think I'll be going again till things pick up, freezing cold tonight and despite playing a severely understrength Leeds we never even looked like winning.

Not really, in 2006 for example we got 11,860 against Wakefield.

Against Leeds, however, we should be aiming for at least 15,000 even given the Millennium Magic defeat.

Atmosphere was dire . Making the East Stand fully reserved was a big mistake.

The KC has created a sanitised away side friendly enviroment.

It could be the lowest home support. Leeds brought a fair few for an away game live on sky. Wakey don't have a huge away following. You could be wrong there........ or I could be.
