Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce the capture of former Hull FC, Sydney Roosters and Leeds Rhinos player Jordan Tansey.


The 24-year-old stand off or full back made 24 appearances in Super League for Hull FC last season, and is expected to make his debut for the Rams in this Sunday's Northern Rail Cup clash against Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

"Capture"? I doubt they had to try very hard to capture him haha. I doubt he was awash with offers!

I wonder if he'd have got an offer from Wakey if he'd hung on for a day or two.

Oh did he? Didn't see that. Anyway I'm sure if Tansey 'keeps his nose clean' for the rest of this season he'll be back in SL next year, he's too talented not to be.

yep problem is thought hes young and sounds like hes easily lead,if he turns things around he could be a fab player.

Austin Buchanan is one of his pals, so hopefully between him and Jowitt they can make him behave, cos if not Jowitt will just get shut of him.

Agreed, but I don't begrudge him the opportunity to earn that position back (though not with FC of course).

Unless he comes back to haunt us....would therefore much rather he rots in the Championship.

Most RL fans would love to play the sport they love and be paid for it, Tanseys talents are wasted on him.
