Poor signing imo. For Wakefield he might offer a decent 10 mins per game, the rest of the time he hobbles about or you just don't notice him. He's similar to Ben Jeffries, he just looks fed up or disinterested all the time. He can still do a stint in defence though.

Reckon that's entirely down to how he goes this season. He'll have to perform well and be largely injury-free to get a new offer IMO. Obst getting a 2 year deal gives us a little breathing space on the decision is all. |

To be fair Washbrook's 26 now and just not good enough. I'm not happy about Obst getting two years at least it means this year will be Washy's last at the club. |

Decent signing if he's on the right contract terms. Hope he's a low earner and has come to provide back up over the next 2 years, if so it's an ok signing - what teams have a better back up 6 (whose there purely for back up)? 1 year would have been a good signing but 2 years isn't a disaster if he's taking up a small amount of cap.

Obst is ok but we get him and Phelps whilst Crusaders , that big welsh powerhouse of superleague have Sammut , Schifcoske , Witt and Withers.
