This rumour is bandied about quite a bit, but I think it's more hope than any real substance.

Then again, I think any and every FC fan would be happy if we signed him.

I have heard nothing from noone, but a few sly remarks from some.....I would suggest this one may be a target as everything appears quite coy.

Can anyone see a) Melbourne saying "you can join Hull if you want, Cooper, we'll release you" and b) Hull FC spending over 300k annual on one player?

Can't see him walking away from an Oz shirt, SOO shirt, trading Melbourne for Hull and taking a pay cut in the process.

If he was available, Warrington, Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Hudds or Rovers would outbid us, won't happen.

It all depends how highly you rate the player.

I doubt many would have the room on the cap we will at the end of the season.

We could offer a target Berrigan, Horne, Long, Fitzgibbon and Lauaki's wage.

But surely most of that cash will be going to Mr Shillington

I guess we'd have to get a big offer for him if he were to accept the deal.
