Because every player and coach in the world craves to be involved with Hull fc,at least thats the dillussion some people seem to be under,call them and they will crawl over broken glass to get here.

I doubt Kearney will ever come back to the KC unless it's as coach for one of the big sides, or the board change.

He wouldn't like being undermined and questioned.

We don't employ top coaches so unless he had a major fall from grace, or unless he was coaching Wigan, Saints, Wire, Leeds or Hudds we won't see him here again.

Be intresting to see how he goes in a head coaches role....still say Wayne Bennett had a big influence on the Kiwis when the won the world cup.

What is the big picture? Nobody can deny that as a business the club is run very very well run off the field, but the thread is about Kearney who is one of the most sought after coaches in the game, people have only stated that it will never happen, because the club have no intention of appointing one of the worlds top coaches, even if the coaches were interested.

Nope. Which is why with the same cap available to all teams the choice of coach is one of the few areas where clubs can get an advantage from bigger income streams. Something we don't seem to be taking advantage of right now.

Wayne Bennet is on a reported $600,000 a year deal.

It will be very interesting to see how he goes.

There is one close to the KC getting £160k a year including his car.

I dont think money is the only factor with making a choice of club.

Saints are well known as poor payers, none of their players are on massive wages, neither are the coaches, but the club is going to be involved in finals so people wanna be there.

Be interesting to see how he goes, he has served his apprenticeship under Bellamy so it's about time he took the leap. Being an Eel I am very pleased with the appointment.
