| I have to agree with this. We didn't lack commitment as such, we wasn't all blood and thunder as I think last week took a lot out of us (I know, I know). The reason we lost is because we were dumb, really dumb. In big games keeping your composure can win or lose you games. For Richard Horne to pass on the first tackle like that was criminal, Lyne kicking on the first was criminal too. Washy's cut out ball and cutting inside when we had overlaps was awful and so was Longy's short kicking. We lost because we had no brains in a big game.

| biggest problem last night was that we started to panic and tried to go down the middle most of the time
that plus the hesitation in passing the ball made it easy for rovers defence to stop us.
it'll change next season when we get cooke back

PANIC.....would mean your brain was working......it definately wasn't working for a majority of the Hull players last night.

| Just can't under stand why there was no long kick down field from a scrum [in second half for young Reece to chase or possible 40/20.
Mind as already posted thick players and coach does not help

I have been thinking this for the last couple of seasons about our kicking. Look at last week against Leeds one of our kicks nearly went backwards. When we get a penalty half the time we only kick the ball 10 meters, Why on earth we aren't going for longer kicks is beyond me. We could easily be getting at least 20+ meters from our kicks

Can't agree more
Forget Agar and all that rubbish, dumb play and stupid, dumb choices lost us the game early on. We should have coped with the loss of Hall and did'nt, the result = PANIC! Down the middle stuff, one-up with a crap kick.
When will we ever learn?
